How do I start, pause and resume an exam?
Get candidates started, and pause or resume the sitting whenever you need to.
On the day, open your assessment and select 'Start Now' so candidates can begin. Until you press start, the assessment stays in a waiting state and candidates cannot access it.
You have full control over each candidate from the control panel. You can pause any candidate at any point and resume them when you are ready, which is useful if something happens unexpectedly during the sitting, such as a candidate needing to step out or a disruption in the room.
You can also restart the section a candidate is on. A restart only affects the subject they are currently sitting, not any subjects they have already completed, so their finished subjects will not be affected.
