Learn how to activate a scheduled assessment and how to monitor a live assessment.
To run an assessment, you must first have set up an assessment.
How to activate a scheduled assessment
To activate an assessment:
- Click 'Assessments' in your menu.
- Click the 'Scheduled' tab.
- Click 'View' next to the assessment that you want to activate.
- Click the 'Start now' button on the top right to activate the assessment.
- The assessment will now be live for your pupils to access.
How to monitor a live assessment
- Click 'Assessments' in your menu.
- Click the 'In progress' tab.
- Click 'View' next to the assessment that you want to monitor.
- Here, you have access to controls to help your assessment run smoothly:
| Pause for the whole class | To pause the assessment for the entire class at once, click the 'Pause' button on the top right. |
| End for the whole class | To end the assessment for the entire class at once, click the 'End now' button on the top right. |
| Get pupil login details | To see the username and password for all pupils in the class, click 'Get pupil logins'. |
| Pause for one pupil | To pause the assessment for one pupil, click 'Pause' to the right of that pupil's name. |
| Restart for one pupil | To restart the assessment for one pupil, click 'Restart' to the right of that pupil's name. |
| See a pupil's progress | Each pupil's progress is shown by the progress bar and number of questions answered, to the right of their name. |
